To make the hiring process easier we have put together a list of frequently asked questions.

Q. What’s the latest date I can hire a camera.

A.The latest a camera can be ordered is 3 days before the hire date. The reason for this is payment and proof of ID needs to be received before the camera can be shipped.

Q. How much is delivery?

A. Delivery is free of charge.

Q. How is the camera equipment delivered?

A. The camera equipment will be delivered to your registered address before 1.00 pm the day before your hire date.

Q. How will the camera equipment be collected?

A. We have thought long and hard about how to do this. We use a return service with Royal Mail and you will need to take the camera equipment to your post office in the packaging supplied and return it to us free of charge. We feel this gives you the flexibility of not having to stay in your property until the courier arrives.

Q. Will a deposit be required?

A. Yes a deposit will be taken when the hire charge is paid. This deposit is fully refundable when the camera is returned to Digicam Hire.

Q. How do I hold the dates I require?

A. A none refundable charge of £20 will be collected as a reservation fee. This will be deducted from the hire charge of the camera when the equipment is paid for.

Q. How do I pay for the hire of the camera equipment?

A. When all the hiring arrangments have been completed an invoice will be e-mailed to you from Pay Pal requesting payment.

Q. Can I hire more than one camera?

A. Yes you can hire more than one camera in fact the more cameras hired the better deal we can give you on the hire charge.

Q. When do the cameras have to be returned?

A The cameras will need to be posted the day after the hire.

Q. Are the cameras insured?

A The cameras are insured during delivery but it is the hirer’s responsibility to insure the camera. This can normally be done through your house hold insurance.

Q. Do the cameras come with the cables to connect to a PC?

A. Yes. All cables and instructions are supplied.
